The vertical mixing system is characterised by the movement of one or more vertical augers with constant spiral pitch. A series of progressive profile scythe knives are mounted on the ends of the augers.
Thanks to the special ZAGO vertical auger shape, product is pushed upwards, creating a continuous fountain flow along the tank walls.
The advantages of “vertical mixing” are cutting simplicity and a significant reduction in the compression exerted on the product compared to the traditional systems manufactured in the eighties.
